Adidas Campus ADV Shoes in Green Oxide and White. Inspired by the classic adidas Campus footwear model from the 1980’s, this style features smooth suede uppers and contrasting white accents accentuated by gold metallic branding which adds a deluxe touch. The toe box has been constructed in one piece with the tongue for a streamlined effect and the colour matched lace up fastening features tough cold-pressed eyestays to keep the fit securely in place during all day skate sessions. On either side of the foot contrasting white stripes add a signature touch with ‘Campus’ lettering in gold above on the right side whilst on the heel the famous adidas trefoil logo has been applied on top of a shaped white cap for additional character. A double-layered ollie zone provides extra durability in a key spot and a dense mesh lining runs throughout the inside of the shoe alongside a moulded Adiprene sockliner which provides premium comfort. The midsole features bounce for impact support and the white rubber outsole gives the design a crisp finish with a Geoflex outsole complete with a herringbone pattern for a high level of grip.
Originally known as the ‘Tournament’ shoe during the design’s inception in the early 1970s, the Adidas Campus was created for the court as a low-top basketball trainer that has been adapted into a casual skate shoe with a vulcanised sole. As a solid style within adidas’ wide selection of performance focused footwear styles, the Campus found its fame as the style worn by the Beastie Boys on the Check Your Head album cover and continues to be revised and refreshed with new colour tones, fabrics and detailing for a new look that retains the origins of the design with a modern touch.
